Dr. Juliana “Joolz” Brown is a freelance translator and editor with more than 25 years of international experience. She is a native English speaker who has lived, studied, and worked in English, Hebrew and Spanish concurrently for decades. Juliana’s expertise lies in delivering a seamless reading of text; one that conveys a precision in nuance and tone, reflecting crucial cultural traces detected immediately by native speakers.
Her projects span national and international NGO and government texts, catalogues and historical documents for museums and galleries across Europe, Latin America and Israel, academic articles and conference papers in the humanities and social sciences, fiction, biographies and more.
Originally from Canada, Juliana now resides in Israel. She has a BA in English Literature and a PhD in Comparative Literary Studies.
